Went to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes today. Had some doubt, but it was actually pretty good! It's about an hour and a half which I liked. I don't like long movies that goes up to 3 hours.
I liked the movie. I can't say much nor compare with the fourth film in the original series, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, ( heard it was pretty similar)because I haven't had the chance to watch it yet. Overall, I really liked the plot. There were few scenes that almost made me cry ( not going to say where because I don't want to ruin it). The graphics were amazing compare to the original series ( of course its been 43 years). The apes looked so real, the expression and the gestures were incredible.
What I also liked about this movie is the additional scenes during the credits (roughly 1-2 mins after the movie ended). Usually we have to wait after the credits to see whether there are additional scenes, but in this movie it appeared during the credits which I though it was clever.
If you haven't watch it yet, go watch it!
Additional tips, if you are planning to watch this movie, go watch it in a bigger theater with good quality. I went to watch it at a small theater and the quality wasn't good as well as the sound (disappointed).
Anyway, the next movie I want to watch is Change-Up, which is already up. EXCITED!!

Captain America
So yesterday I went to go watch the movie, Captain America, (finally) and I must say it wasn't bad. I think there were few places they could have done it better, but overall it was good.
Usually when I watch a movie I tend to put my focus on the story itself, but for some reason, my attention was on Hayley Atwell the whole time and of course Chris Evan's body. I must say Hayley Atwell looked amazing! loved the hair, makeup, costumes, and the role she played.
She looked gorgeous with the simple eye makeup, dark and thick eyebrows, with bright red lips. Her wavy hair was so classic. The red dress was brilliant. love 40's fashion!
Definitely something I would like to try out this fall.
and I can't wait for the Avengers movie in 2012.
